I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I am about the wedding styled shoot + workshop that I organized this past Sunday along with the help of my hubby and some pretty stellar industry friends and vendors! To the amazing attendees, vendors and speakers – you all made this such an amazing experience and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for a pretty epic afternoon of learning and investing in your craft! The concept of this workshop was to help share the knowledge I’ve gained and utilize my creativity and love of bringing amazing vendors together to see a vision come to life! I hope you all enjoy this peek into our day – come back on Freyday for some behind the scenes photos! Also, a MAJOR Thank you to Mr. G for hanging out with us all day & allowing us to use the space and your beautiful plane! And to our fabulous couples – Lindsey & Jonah and Jenny & Adam for modeling, you were wonderful (and to your mom’s for sharing you with us on Mother’s Day!!)

Love is an Adventure!
Hi everyone!! I posted the initial announcement last week about the styled wedding photo shoot & workshop I’m organizing. I am so excited for this adventure on May 13th, 2012 for fellow wedding photographers to come learn and practice! We’ve got a fantastic team of vendors ready to create a great shoot for you. Beyond portfolio images, I’ll be working with you on communicating to your brides and grooms to create natural posing – and we’ll hear from my good friend, fellow photographer and graphic designer Jennifer Williams on visually interpreting your personality to create a unique brand!
We will be shooting in a private airplane hanger at Shafter airport and will have access to a private jet, a newly restored vintage Shelby Cobra and a modern Jaguar. Anyone as excited as I am to have a million dollar photo shoot at your disposal?!
***This is open to photographers of all levels who are interested in wedding photography. You can utilize the styled shoot to work on your portfolio, or utilize it as a chance to ask two professional wedding photographers any questions you have about getting into weddings!

Jessica Frey Photography – Wedding Photographer

This is one of my major “WHY” moments of my passion for my job. As a full time wedding photographer, I get to capture the happiest day of a couple’s life as they come together as one and make promises to one another to be there in good times and in bad. For better or for worse. Forever 
This is what it’s all about.
I’ve been inspired lately through the mentor programs I did earlier this year to take it another step. I am so excited to start working on developing a wedding styled shoot/mini-workshop for photographers looking to improve their wedding photography skills & get some practice in. How to anchor and capture emotion on a hectic day. How to effectively ‘direct’ your couples on their wedding day. How to naturally pose without posing. Plus we’ll throw a little branding and marketing in there to help you discover and define your unique style – with some expertise in the design and branding field from Jennifer Williams.
Details are coming soon – it’ll be on a Sunday in April or May and I can’t wait to make the full announcement soon!

Hello fellow photographers out there! I know I’ve spoken to a few of you about February sessions, so I wanted to make an announcement that I am now accepting a maximum of 3 mentoring opportunities for next month. I feel so excited about the ladies I’ve worked with and are currently working with. It’s an honor and I’m loving digging into their businesses and working with them to define how to take it to the next level, how to get it off the ground and hopefully helping skip some of the major mistakes we see a happening in this business! If you have any quesitons, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Jessica Frey…..what an amazing business woman, photographer, friend and mentor she is!! I have been following Jessica the last 2 years and the day I saw that she was going to offer Mentoring Session I knew my photography business was going to change, of course for the better! So of course, I signed up as fast as I could! From the start Jessica was such a sweet person. I have learned so much from Jessica that I wasn’t doing for my business and now I know why I feel like I have been struggling. This coming year there are going to be a lot of new changes for my photography business and learning to balance my personal life with my business.
