I love that this job has allowed me to meet couples from around the world and when I received an email from Canadian bride Petra almost a year ago about her wedding in Las Vegas, everything aligned perfectly and I couldn’t wait for her April 2nd wedding!  Having done a ‘vegas’ wedding at Mandalay Bay I knew the protocol for casino weddings and was able to guide them through a timeline of getting ready photos, first look, then meeting up with everyone after the ceremony for family photos!  Petra decided on a post-ceremony destination shoot out in the desert so we loaded into the limo and thanks to a random cold front and hail storm, we had to divert our plans to head to Red Rock Canyon.  Thankfully, our amazing driver found an area that worked perfectly!  These two braved the colder weather much better than I did (oh, Canadians!) and we were able to get some absolutely beautiful images of the newlyweds!  Congratulations Petra & Shea and a huge thank you to my girls, Jennifer Williams and Amanda Klawitter for driving with me out to Vegas and shooting/assisting with me!!
