1) What is the best advice that was given to you when you started planning your wedding?
Have Fun Planning it only happens once in a lifetime!
2) What is one thing you think every bride should know that you learned while planning your wedding?
Communicate and use any help that is offered, the more you can delegate the better. (I have issues trusting people making things the way I want them so this was difficult for me but I had that 1 person that I knew I could trust and I knew would make the best decisions for me and it was PERFECT!)
3) What were your wedding colors and is there a story behind why you chose them? Blush, Gray and White.
No significance at all. The hall was very busy with multiple colors, so we picked colors that would tone it down and make a romantic elegant setting.
4) What’s your favorite detail you chose for your wedding that representing your love story?
Baseball ring holder! We both LOVE the Los Angeles Dodgers and he has a history of playing baseball, so we had a friend cut a baseball in half and place the ring holder in to display our wedding bands.
5) How long did you have to plan your wedding day?
We planned our wedding in 9 months. Got engaged February 2013 and were married November 2013.
6) Did you hire a wedding planner/day of coordinator? Was it worth the expense?
We did. We hired my best friend, definitely worth it being that I trusted she would make the best decisions for us, she was amazing. The hall also came with a coordinator who was also helpful but we used my best friend also.
7) Any advice on having a First Look before your ceremony?
Yes! I wanted to see him as I came down the aisle because I was worried that we wouldn’t have as much excitement but it was just as exciting. It worked out perfect ( He didn’t cry at the first look, I did…but he cried as I came down the aisle and I didn’t)
8) Is there anything you’d choose to do differently or have that you didn’t have?
No, we had everything we wanted
9) How was Jacob involved and was there something specific he wanted for your wedding day?
He was not too involved he let me run with it and gave his opinion when I needed it. He did make specific requests such as Mariachi, (DJ) music played, Mexican Candy Bar.
10) What vendors were your top priority?
Photographer- Jessica Frey (She was amazing captured any and everything that was on our list of photos to be taken)
Leslie’s Flower Shop- Very disappointing (would not recommend)
11) Any other advice for brides/grooms planning their 2014/2015 weddings?
DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY , THIS IS YOUR DAY! (DON’T LET ANYONE TRY TO MAKE IT THIERS) We were lucky enough to have no issues or difficulties with the wedding party or our families
