Another year, another great photography conference….UNITED 2014 was held this past week in beautiful Santa Barbara and I’m so thankful I was able to attend for the second year!  We had opportunities to attend talks given by some pretty amazing photographers full of inspiration and opportunities to work on our craft.  We had amazing meals and plenty of time to catch up with old friends and make new friends.  I spent quite a bit of time having quality catch up chats with old friends and didn’t really bring out my camera much and this year chose not to participate or create a photo shoot…and that’s okay!  Here are the few images I was able to take….enjoy and have a great FREYday!!!

My beautiful, wonderfully talented roommates!!  I love that we’ve become so close over the past year and am so thankful for all the ways each of these woman has taught me and encouraged me about photography and life.  Love you ladies and enjoyed the past 6 days of learning, sharing, encouraging and late night gab fests 🙂

I was so surprised and excited to see that one of my images received 3rd place in this year’s Shoot & Share photo contest!  Over 5.7 million votes, 1660 photographers, and over 26,000 images were submitted.  So blessed and thankful…..
It’s always a joy to see Mary Marantz – a woman who has inspired me for years and has such an ability with words and a genuine heart to teach in our industry.  Can’t wait to see her and Justin again in April in Annapolis for our Anniversary Photo Shoot!  Miss Amanda!!  My ‘mama’ full of comfort and love….you bet I took advantage of hugs for 5 days with this one!

Another inspirational photographer…and fellow world traveler!  Always awesome getting to see Kenny Kim in person and can’t wait to shoot with him in Austin soon!My sister…..Elizabeth, I love you dearly and am so thankful for you!
