Happy Monday everyone! As I sit in a castle in Ireland enjoying some coffee to stay warm, I want to make sure not to get too far behind on blogging images of our locations, but I also want to focus on experiencing everything that’s happend – so thank you for being patient as I find time here and there to upload images 🙂  It’s much easier to follow our real-time adventure through iphone photos and videos on Instagram, so feel free to find us there too!  (@jessicafreyphotography @erickingfrey or #FreysRTW).

About a week ago, we had the opportunity to stay in a villa apartment in Osaia – a small community of Cortona, which is the hill town made famous by the movie Under the Tuscan Sun.  We were so fortunate that the owner of the apartment had time to take us in his car up to the town each day and introduced us to his family and gave us quite the tour!  I think it’s because he’s a huge cowboy fan and being that we were from Texas made us extra special 😉  Anyway, here’s a peek at some of the views, streets and sunflower fields that I absolutely fell in love with – Tuscany…we will be back!

So, our apartment had the cutest kitchen with the most beautiful light!  So, anytime I was preparing food, I grabbed my camera and worked on my food photography!  We had access to the garden and each day I picked fresh tomatoes and basil, and we were provided with oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, toast and coffee! 

 

We visited Le Selle monastery, an active monastery where St. Francis lived!
