Engagement Photos – Natalie & Jacob

Last Sunday, Bakersfield had an epic dust/dirt/wind storm….so naturally, I was a bit nervous for my scheduled engagement shoot with Natalie & Jacob up on her family land in Keene, but thankfully we had nothing but sunshine, blue skies and no dust! It was such a fun shoot and the love these two have for one another was radiating! Bakersfield Engagement – Ronnie & Kourtney

Congratulations Kourtney & Ronnie!! I’m excited for your wedding this fall and enjoyed getting to shoot your engagement photos in the beautiful ‘spring’ canyon last week! It’s always an adventure in March and April as the surrounding Bakersfield area blooms with green grass and colorful flowers everywhere….thanks for heading out there with me!

Hannah & Mike – Bakersfield Engagement Photos

Rainy, foggy, overcast engagement photo days? Not gonna rain on this couple’s parade! I am so excited to be a part of Mike & Hannah’s wedding and loved getting to photograph their engagement photos last week! I’ve known these two for a few years through our church and am so happy they’re taking it to the next level and committing to each other through marriage! Mike and Hannah- you two were so much fun to work with, thanks for coming with ideas, the ability to ‘smize’ and bowties. I’m now a huge fan of bowties, Mike – way to pull it off like a true gentleman. Good thing you’ve got such a gorgeous woman on your arm to make it look even better! Congratulations!!! - Jessica

Real Bride: Hannah's Turquoise & Sunflower Wedding

Real Brides!
Hi guys! Since it’s engagement/wedding planning season, I thought I’d dip into my resources and ask some of my amazing past brides to answer a few questions for you on planning their wedding day! Our first up is the gorgeous Hannah who married Steven at the Noriega House in a spring wedding in Bakersfield (although I’m pretty sure it was a random heat wave and it may have been 95 degrees outside!) Their turquoise/tiffany blue + sunflower was such a gorgeous color combination and photographed beautifully!
